Questions

  • While the name is ‘Art by Joel Weddings’, we love attending events and celebrations of every kind! If you have something in mind and would love to include us in your vision - we’re in!

  • We would love to travel far and wide to paint your event! There are no additional charges for weddings within an hour of the Rockhampton area.
    We have a flat rate of $400 for weddings/events located within 1 hour of the Brisbane CBD.
    If your celebration is in a different location we can always tailor a custom package just for you.

  • Yes! I will get a reference photo, or you can send your favourite professional picture and I complete this at my home studio after the event. This means that more guests can enjoy the portraits and I can spend more time on painting the special details of the happy couple.

  • I am able to paint at events with over 100 guests! Due to time constraints, any guests over 100 will be completed at my home studio and mailed to the newlyweds to disperse amongst friends and family. This comes at an additional cost due to the number of people.

    • Up to 100 extra guests (50 portratis) - $700

    • Up to 50 extra guests (25 portraits) - $350

    • Up to 25 extra guests (13 portraits) - $250

    • Up to 5-10 extra guests (5 portraits) - $100

  • All I require is a large table and two chairs, and where possible access to a power outlet so I can plug bits and pieces in! I will bring all materials needed for the paintings, as well as lighting.
    If you have certain florals or table decor that will tie the wedding in, I would love to display those for you.
    I will bring some simple signage to explain the service to your guests.

    It would also be great if your MC can provide a brief explanation and encourage guests to come and get their reference photo at our table!
